In this article over at GameSpy you will find that the reason for recalling the game is because a soundtrack has some words from the Quran in it. This saddens me if the reason is because they do not want to offend any body of that faith. Yet game publishers and designers constantly put less than complimentary references to the Christian faith all the time and it doesn't seem to bother them at all, but you put a reference to any other religion and they back pedal immediately so as not to offend. I just want to know why it is alright to step on the Christian faith, but walk on eggshells for everything else.
I love to game but it is getting harder and harder to find anything that is fit to play that doesn't have extreme foul language and subject matter any more. Don't get me wrong I do like shooters and the violence that is in them is not over the top nor does it border on the occult. Games can be quite enjoyable without the sick, twisted violence you find in some of the titles out there today.
It seems I am jumping from topic to topic so I will end my rant here.
